Carol has been practicing yoga since 1996, started teaching Yoga in 2003 and has over 1000 hours of teacher training. With a background in the Health and Fitness industry since 1990 teaching a variety of exercise classes for all ages, she developed a passion for keeping the body/mind healthy through exercise and yoga. After discovering yoga she soon realised the balance that yoga could bring to your body, mind and your life. Yoga is now so much more than a physical practice on a mat, it is a way of life.
Carol currently teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Restorative and Yin Yoga. Her classes are designed to nurture and inspire “every body “, from newcomers to the experienced yogi. Dedicated to providing a safe and encouraging space to explore all that yoga has to offer in an authentic and heart felt way. She teaches in the inner west area with a large client base of all ages and experience. This teaching experience allows Carol to modify the practice for those just starting out and those with injuries. She is deeply grateful for all the teachers she has practiced and trained with, from her very first Hatha Yoga teacher to amazing Australian and overseas teachers.
The qualities needed for motherhood are many. Carol, a mother of three, finds yogic principals empower her to be a better mother. After completing her Prenatal Teacher Training in 2011 she began teaching Prenatal Yoga. She finds teaching at this special time a privilege. It warms her heart to be able to provide support and share the wonders of yoga with pregnant women. Prenatal Yoga can transform pregnancy, helping mothers feel relaxed and fit during pregnancy, and give them skills for pregnancy, childbirth, motherhood and a calm, gentle and joyful birth.
