Melanie Palomares is an Independent Contemporary Dancer, Performer, Secondary teacher and Yoga instructor. She was first introduced to yoga almost a decade ago and, whilst it was initially to condition the body for dance, it very quickly became a holistic approach to life and wellbeing.
Trained in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga styles, Melanie completed her Foundational training with AllYoga in Thailand, and has since completed her Yin Training with Melanie McLaughlin (The Yin Space) and Sarah Powers, Advanced Sequencing & Assists (BodyMindLife), and Pre-natal Workshops with Gabrielle Earls (Yogamama).
Melanie’s interest lies in sequential flow and the sensitive somatic experience. Her classes are dynamic but with a steady progression, providing the space for individuals to work at their own level.
An important aspect of Melanie’s teaching style is to assist individuals to observe and understand their own body, and how to access their breath so they can move with grace and fluidity. It is her belief that when the mind becomes more attuned to the body, the two can work harmoniously together, on or off the mat.
