Lunar Harmony

with  | 8 June | 2pm-4pm | Rozelle | from $55

Embark on a transformative journey, where you’ll focus on moon practices of breath and movement to slow down and help stabilise the mind. Winter is a time to fully surrender ourselves to deep self-inquiry, allowing us then to create the space within to dive into a sense of self-connection and love.

Moon practices are vital for fostering a connection with your parasympathetic nervous system, which becomes a conduit to your seat of power, empowering you to navigate life with renewed vigor.

Perfect for all yogis, a curated blend of breathwork, movement, and meditation will serve as your toolkit, seamlessly intertwining body, breath, and mind to facilitate a profound reconnection with your truest and most grounded self.

What you will learn:

  • 6 different pranayama techniques that take us back to the parasympathetic nervous system
  • How the breath can work with us to stimulate relaxation and restoration throughout the mind and body
  • How the combination of working with movement and breath can begin to take us beyond the mind
  • Movement practices that open up our energy centers and release the flow of prana throughout the body
  • Using mind-focusing techniques to withdraw the senses and still the fluctuations of the mind
  • How the act of surrendering brings us back to oneness

Who is this training for?

For anyone who is looking for tools to relieve stress, calm the mind, and be fully present in each moment of life.

Guided by:

Elsa Geelan
Elsa’s yoga journey began after the birth of her second son. She was searching for something that would help calm her mind and assist her in dealing with the very demanding job of motherhood. She fell in love with the physical practice of yoga after her very first class but quickly started to see that the benefits for her were far more than only those of the body.

Seeing the changes in her son when applying yoga and meditation practices to his life, she decided this was something she wanted to share with other parents and children. She completed her Kids YTT and started teaching children’s yoga and mindfulness. This developed further into her wanting to empower women through the journey of pregnancy and motherhood by teaching prenatal and postnatal yoga and giving them the gift of yoga to pass on to their children. Her love of yoga hasn’t stopped there – she currently adores bringing yoga to those starting out on their journey, by teaching the benefits of breath and proper alignment, as well as bringing a slow and strong flow to more seasoned practitioners.

I want the gift of the physical and subtle practices of yoga to be accessible to everyone. Whenever in doubt, take a breath and come back to child’s pose.
