This 5-day intensive training will be a deep dive into the world of Yin Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, and the Art of Holding Space.
What will be covered:
-Understanding the characteristics of yin yoga
-How to theme and sequence yin yoga appropriately and safely
-The Four Foundations of Mindfulness Meditation
-An introduction to Five Element Theory
-Understanding of TCM Meridian Theory
-The art of holding space
-Breathing techniques and meditations to complement a yin practice
-Anatomy and Physiology of yin postures

Who is this training for?
Open to dedicated students who are called to immerse themselves in self reflection and insight; the depth and stillness of Yin practice; as well as those who are interested in teaching Yin Yoga and Meditation. This training will provide time and space for personal enquiry and transformation through the lens of Yin Yoga. It will give you the tools to orient your everyday life with more ease, freedom, and curiosity.
The venue for this training has been specifically and thoughtfully designed for yoga trainings and retreats. The rooms are stunning and spacious Balinese style with ensuite indoor-outdoor bathrooms, gorgeous furnishings, king single beds (twin share) with draped mosquito netting, filtered water, fridge and air conditioning. There is a beautiful outdoor cafe to provide you with nourishing meals and caring, attentive Balinese staff ready to welcome you to this lush tropical retreat.
Prior to the training:
Each student will be required to attend 12 yin classes, have the class signed off by the teacher and write a short summary of the class. A detailed description of this will be sent out at the time of making a deposit.
