Megan first discovered yoga during her time spent living in San Francisco. She gained her teaching credentials at the Integral Yoga Institute of San Francisco in 2004. During the next five years in California, Megan went on to study Vinyasa flow and Yoga Therapy. Upon returning to Australia and following the birth of her first child Megan became a certified prenatal yoga teacher. She is passionate about the immense benefits of yoga during pregnancy and as preparation for birth.
Megan has been drawn to the quiet and powerful benefits of Yin Yoga as a tonic for the challenges and busy days of life with two small children. She completed teacher training with one of Yin Yoga’s founders, Sarah Powers. Megan is also a qualified Occupational Therapist with a long history of working in many different facets of the healthcare industry.
Megan teaches Vinyasa, Prenatal and Yin Yoga. She provides a caring and knowledgeable approach to her classes making them accessible to everyone regardless of their level of physical fitness or yoga experience. Megan’s classes focus on connecting with the breath, finding balance and releasing tension. Megan believes that practicing yoga will help you to feel grounded, energised and to re-connect with what is important in your life.
